The Plumb Line

"Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, and in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom."

Psalm 51:6

You don't have to come polished.
You just have to come willing.

R&R Weekend is not a retreat built on hype. It is not a conference designed to entertain you into a moment. It is a guided, intentional space for people who are tired of surface-level growth and ready for something real to begin.

This is a room set apart for truth, reflection, worship, prayer, teaching, and honest response — not a space where you're pressured to perform, but a space where you are finally free to participate.

We prepare the environment. God does the restoring.

A holy pause for recovery.

A weekend paced for breath, reflection, prayer, worship, and response — not performance.

What This Is

A sacred pause for recovery.

A room for truth

A space where honesty is not punished, rushed, or used against you.

A guided process

Teaching, prayer, journaling, reflection, and intentional pauses to help you engage what is being revealed.

A worshipful atmosphere

Worship that makes room for surrender, not spectacle.

A trauma-informed space

Gentle enough to honor your capacity, structured enough to help hold the room.

A faith-rooted invitation

Biblical teaching, prayer, and ministry for the one who is ready to take a step toward restoration.

What This Is Not

Not pressure. Not polish. Not a show.

Not hype

We are not manufacturing emotion and calling it transformation.

Not pressure

You will not be forced to share, perform, prove, or respond before you are ready.

Not a quick fix

One weekend cannot undo everything. But it can become a sacred starting place.

Not manipulation in worship clothes

No emotional coercion. No spiritualized urgency. No pushing people past capacity.

Not restoration sold as a product

God does the restoring. We prepare the environment.

Not a substitute for professional care

This experience is not a replacement for therapy, medical care, crisis care, or professional counseling.

Two days. One intentional flow.

R&R Weekend is not a collection of disconnected sessions. It is designed as a complete flow.

Friday makes room for truth and preparation.
Saturday creates space for recovery, restoration, teaching, prayer, journaling, and process.
Saturday Evening closes with worship and response.

This is why the Full Weekend Experience is the most complete way to attend. You are not just coming to an event. You are stepping into the full flow — from awakening, to processing, to response.

A detailed schedule will be released as the weekend approaches.

01
Friday

Friday Opening + Freedom Flow

Truth is named. The room is prepared.

Friday begins by slowing the room down. This is where we make space for honesty, awakening, and truth — not shame, not pressure, not performance.

02
Saturday

Saturday All-Day Intensive

The work is engaged. The process is held.

Saturday is the heart of the R&R process, with teaching, prayer, guided reflection, journaling, workbook work, and intentional pauses for processing.

03
Saturday Night

A Night of Response

The room responds. Worship becomes the overflow.

Saturday evening closes with a live worship recording and gathered moment of worship, surrender, prayer, and response.

Friday Opening + Freedom Flow

Truth is named. The room is prepared.

This part is exclusive to Full Weekend attendees.

Friday begins by slowing the room down. This is where we make space for honesty, awakening, and truth — not shame, not pressure, not performance.

After the opening session, Full Weekend attendees remain for Friday Freedom Flow: a worshipful preparation space before Saturday’s live recording.

This is not a casual rehearsal. It is prayer, worship, reflection, and room alignment. It gives Full Weekend attendees the opportunity to participate in the atmosphere and posture of what God is building for the weekend.

“Awake, you who sleep, arise from the dead, and Christ will give you light.” Ephesians 5:14

  • Exclusive to Full Weekend attendees
  • Happens after Friday’s opening session
  • A worshipful preparation space, not a casual rehearsal
  • Prayer, reflection, worship, and room alignment
  • A chance to participate in the sound and atmosphere before Saturday’s live recording
  • Designed to help Full Weekend attendees settle into the full R&R flow
Saturday All-Day Intensive

The work is engaged. The process is held.

Saturday is the heart of the R&R process.

This all-day intensive will include teaching, prayer, guided reflection, journaling, workbook work, and intentional pauses for processing.

The pace will matter. This will not be information overload. It will be a held space where truth can land, where God can speak, and where recovery and restoration work can begin.

  • All-day Recovery + Restoration intensive
  • Teaching, prayer, and guided response
  • Intentional pauses for processing and journaling
  • Journal provided
  • Iron Gang R&R workbook provided

A Night of Response

The room responds. Worship becomes the overflow.

Saturday evening closes with A Night of Response — a live worship recording and gathered moment of worship, surrender, prayer, and response.

This is not a concert. This is not a show. It is the sound of a room responding to what God has been doing throughout the weekend.

A Night of Response is included with the Full Weekend Experience and Saturday Only ticket. Worship Night Only tickets are available for those attending Saturday evening only.

“Be transformed by the renewing of your mind.” Romans 12:2

  • Included with Saturday Only
  • Worship Night Only tickets are available
  • Not a concert and not a show

You are stepping into the full R&R flow.

You can attend Saturday only. You can attend A Night of Response only. But the Full Weekend Experience allows you to move through the entire arc.

  • You begin with truth.
  • You stay for preparation.
  • You enter the process.
  • You end in response.

For the person ready for more than surface-level.

You don't have to have the right words. You don't have to have it figured out. You don't have to know exactly what needs to change. You just have to be honest enough to show up.

  • You are tired of surface-level growth and ready to engage the process underneath it
  • You feel like something deeper needs to be addressed — and you are finally ready to look at it
  • You are navigating pain, pressure, disappointment, trauma, transition, or survival
  • You are ready to stop performing and start being honest before God
  • You want space to process — with structure, with wisdom, with other people on the same journey
  • You want real change, even if real change requires a real process
  • You are willing to participate, not just observe
  • You don't fit any of these descriptions neatly, but something in you knows you need to be in this room
Ready to take the next step?

If this sounds like you, reserve your seat.

For the fullest R&R experience, choose the Full Weekend Experience and move through the complete flow from truth, to process, to response.

Scholarships are limited and reserved for those with genuine financial need. If you're able to pay the full rate, we ask that you do — your registration helps hold space for others.

Scholarship requests are reviewed separately. Your spot is not reserved until your request is approved and your reduced registration payment is completed.

You can't skip the stages.
And we won't pretend you can.

Process over performance. That is the difference between a moment and a transformation. Most of what we call "stuck" is just a stage we tried to outrun. Real growth doesn't reward your hustle — it honors your honesty. Show up to the stage you're actually in, and the next one will meet you there.

"First the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head."

— Mark 4:28

Jesus showed us the order on purpose. The seed doesn't perform. It cooperates. Our work is not to rush the next stage — it is to be present in the one we're in.

1
The Blade

Awareness

You begin to see what is actually there. Not fix it. Not solve it. Finally see it — clearly, honestly, without performance. Awareness may not feel like transformation yet, but it is where transformation begins.

2
The Head

Understanding

You begin to understand why it is there, how it formed, and how it has been quietly shaping your responses. Insight without rushing to act on it.

3
The Full Grain

Integration

Change becomes consistent and lived out. What was once revelation becomes a way of being. Not because you forced it — because you stayed in the process.

We prepare the environment. God is responsible for the growth.

Come alone. Invite someone.
Either way, there is room.

If someone came to mind while you were reading this page, this section makes it easy to send the invitation. You may be coming alone. You may be bringing someone with you. Or you may not be able to come at all but still know someone who needs to be in the room.

Either way, the invitation matters.

What you might be wondering.

No. R&R Weekend is rooted in faith and will include worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and ministry, but it is open to anyone who is ready for truth, healing, recovery, and restoration.
That is completely understandable — and you will not be the only person coming alone. Many people may walk in without knowing anyone, and you will not be treated like an outsider. R&R Weekend is being prepared as a welcoming, intentional room — not a clique, not a performance space, and not a place where you have to already belong to participate. You are welcome to come alone. There will be room for you.
That’s perfectly okay. R&R Weekend is designed to be accessible and safe for anyone ready to engage the process — whether this is your first event like this or you’ve been in healing spaces for years. You do not need prior experience. You just need to show up willing.
You will never be required to share publicly or speak in front of the group. There will be opportunities for guided reflection, prayer, and response, but you are always in control of what you share and when. This is a space of invitation, not obligation.
You are free to step out, take breaks, or leave early if needed. We want you to honor your own capacity and needs. This is not a space where you have to push through or prove anything. Take care of yourself.
No. R&R Weekend is for anyone navigating pain, pressure, disappointment, trauma, transition, or survival — regardless of where that came from. Church hurt is one context, but this space is for anyone ready to engage honest process and spiritual growth.
R&R Weekend will include worship, prayer, biblical teaching, guided reflection, psychology-informed insight, journaling, and practical steps you can take beyond the weekend. We are creating room for God to move, but we will not pressure, force, or manufacture a moment. Participation is invited, not demanded.
No. R&R Weekend is a faith-based ministry event, not therapy, medical care, crisis care, or professional counseling. The weekend may include psychology-informed language, trauma-informed teaching, and practical tools, but it is not a substitute for support from licensed mental health or medical professionals. If you are currently in crisis or need clinical support, please seek appropriate professional care.
Yes. You are welcome to invite someone to attend with you, but every attendee must have their own ticket. Seating is limited, so each person should reserve their seat in advance.
No. Saturday Only tickets are available. However, the Full Weekend Experience is the most complete way to engage the full R&R flow.
Friday Freedom Flow is exclusive to Full Weekend attendees. It is a worshipful preparation space after Friday’s opening session where attendees participate in the atmosphere and posture leading into Saturday’s live recording.
A Night of Response is the Saturday evening live worship recording and closing moment of the weekend. It is not a concert or show. It is a gathered worship response.
A detailed schedule will be released as the weekend approaches. Exact arrival times and session times will be shared closer to the weekend. The current page gives the overall flow, ticket options, and major parts of the weekend so guests can register and prepare with clarity.

Can't Come · Want to Sow

You can't be in the room.
But your seed can.

Maybe the timing isn't right. Maybe the miles are too many. Maybe this season is asking different things of you. There's still a way to be in this room — through someone else's seat.

"For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." — Matthew 6:21

The Vision

One weekend.
But the vision is much bigger.

R&R was not created to be a one-time event. The vision is for this space to grow, travel, and reach more people who need an honest room — for truth, for healing, for worship, for growth.

When you register, you are not only investing in your own process. You are helping us build spaces like this for the next person who needs it.

TRUTH · HEALING · TRANSFORMATION

You do not have to come ready.
You do not have to come fixed.
You just have to come willing.

Because while this is not a promise of recovery or restoration, it is a space where both can begin. Come willing. Come honest. Come as you are.

R&R Weekend is designed to create space for reflection, prayer, worship, teaching, and response. We do not guarantee a specific outcome or sell restoration as a product. God does the restoring; we prepare the environment and invite you to participate with honesty, openness, and faith.
